They announced their split in August, but even though their romance came to an end, former "Bachelor" couple Vanessa Grimaldi and Nick Viall are still friendly and on good terms.

While attending KIIS FM's iHeartRadio Jingle Ball in Los Angeles on Dec. 1, Vanessa spoke with Us Weekly about her life post-split, and admitted that she and Viall, who ended their engagement just a few months after the "Bachelor" Season 21 finale, are on good terms and still friendly nowadays.

"We are on good terms, so we're very supportive of each other," she said.

Nick chose Vanessa to be his wife during his season finale as the star of "The Bachelor," his fourth time appearing in the franchise. He has previously failed to find love after becoming the runner-up in both Andi Dorfman and Caitlyn Bristowe's seasons of "The Bachelorette," and appearing on Season 3 of "Bachelor In Paradise."

However, the fourth time wasn't the charm for him after all, and by August, he and Vanessa had called it quits, with sources saying at the time that it wasn't a surprise to those closest to them.

"Their friends knew the relationship wouldn't last," sources said at the time. "It was a mismatch from the start. She's super fun, bubbly and outgoing and he's more of a serious personality and more introverted. She would try to bring him out of his shell, but he's just not as comfortable in big groups."

At the time of the split, the pair also released a joint statement saying that they were ending things on an amicable note.

"It's with a great amount of heartbreak for the both of us as we have decided to end our engagement," their statement read. "We gave this relationship our all and we are saddened that we did not get the fairytale ending we hoped for. We will continue to be there for each other no matter what. This hasn't been an easy decision, however, as we part ways, we do so with lots of love and admiration for each other."

These days, though she is still friendly with her ex, Vanessa also admits she's happy being single.

"I think it's important, you know, after you get out of a serious relationship, to just take time for yourself and feel comfortable in your own space alone. Im really enjoying that time to myself right now," she said.
