“The Big Bang Theory” star Johnny Galecki, who plays experimental physicist Leonard Hofstadter in the popular CBS show, appears to be ageless.

Even his fans seem to think so, since they created a hilarious meme which questioned the actor’s ability to play characters who are much younger than he really is.

Galecki shared this meme on his Instagram account (@sanctionedjohnnygalecki), and he wrote that he is as old “as dirt. The answer is, I'm old as dirt. Thanks (?) to whomever made this meme. Made me laugh out loud.”

For those who are wondering, Galecki’s real age is 41. Leonard, on the other hand, is 36.

Galecki and his “The Big Bang Theory” co-stars are actually starting an internet firestorm especially since Season 10 just premiered. Galecki’s ex-girlfriend and on-screen wife Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny, even shared a teaser photo of Leonard and Penny’s second wedding on her Instagram account (@normancook).

Meanwhile, Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler in the series, wrote a lengthy blog post about the new episode “The Conjugal Conjecture” on Grok Nation.

“We are so happy to be back filming another season of TBBT and I hope the wedding ceremony episode made you happy to be watching as well!” she wrote.

Penny and Leonard’s families did not get along well during the episode, but Bialik said the opposite can be said of the cast and crew.

“We are often asked what makes our cast gel so well; it’s been a really fortunate mixture of personalities that just gel well, pretty much. Sure, we are all different, but we all work very well together,” she said. “And the added cast only adds to the fun. We laughed a lot when filming these group scenes in particular.”

“The Big Bang Theory” airs every Monday on CBS.
