HTC One M10, the upcoming flagship from the Taiwanese tech giant goes by the internal codename "HTC Perfume." Even though there is not much news about this handset, a new report from the credible tipster Evan Blass gives out key design and carrier-related details.

Speaking of release date, the One M10 will apparently be released in March. Tipster Blass of @evleaks fame said the Perfume / M10 will be offered by AT&T in the U.S.

In another tweet, Blass confirmed that the M10 will resemble the well-received upper-mid-range HTC One A9 with regard to exterior design. If this comes true, the upcoming flagship will be super thin and will feature a full-metal chassis.

A fingerprint sensor at the front is also given, and to be very candid, the device should look similar to the iPhone 6 lineup. When HTC released the A9, many critics pointed out the identical design elements of the two handsets.

As for specifications, Phone Arena said the HTC One M10 might come as two variants. One of them will apparently be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, while the other will come with a MediaTek processor. The Qualcomm variant is believed to land in the U.S.

The M10 will reportedly run Android 6.1 Marshmallow OS with Sense 8.0 UI out of the box. The HTC One A9, which was released last year, came bundled with Android 6.0 on board, similar to the Nexus handsets. So, it is not surprising that the upcoming flagship will come with the latest version of the OS during its release.

This device has been rumored to carry an IP 68 rating for water-resistance. In comparison, the predecessor One M9 comes with only splash-resistance with IP X3 certification.

Nevertheless, readers are advised to take the reported HTC One M10 specifications, release date with the proverbial pinch of salt as the company has not confirmed any information so far.
