Promotion for the latest installment in the “Hunger Games” franchise is getting innovative.

Lionsgate released the new promos for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” on Tuesday featuring Peeta and Johanna as “living portraits.” The pair is dressed head-to-toe in white and standing separately as they rotate in front of the Capitol seal.

Peeta is called the “Spirit of Strength” while Johanna is referred to as “Statuesque Allure” in the “Capitol Citizen Living Portraits.” Both characters, played by Josh Hutcherson and Jena Malone respectively, have been seen in past teaser videos where President Snow (played by Donald Sutherland) addresses citizens of Panem.

The animated posters were released on the movie’s website, Capitol Couture, with an emphasis on the fashion. The site says Peeta wears a matte leather Unconditional ensemble, shirt and shoes by Maison Martin Margiela and a paper collar piece by David Mason. Johanna wears an Alon Livne dress that “references the branch motif of the Panem Seal.” She also wears Alexander Wang shoes and hand-carved marble bangles by Chen Chen and Kai Williams.

Earlier this month, Lionsgate released a movie poster featuring President Snow, Johanna and Peeta in full white with white body paint and the caption “United For You.” The photo was released alongside a 53-second teaser trailer in which Snow addresses citizens about the importance of unity, with a brainwashed Peeta standing alongside him.

“Panem is speaking with one voice. The Capitol and Districts, bound together in solidarity,” the president says. His message, however, is interrupted by Beetee broadcasting from District 13.

“This is a pirate transmission from District 13 with a message,” Beetee, played by Jeffrey Wright, says. “The Mockingjay lives.”
