A video showing Maria Belen Chapur, the Argentinean woman which South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford confessed having an affair with, has been published in Argentinean and U.S. media and is the first and only image of her so far.

Watch here the video of Belen Chapur.

In an interview published today, Gov. Stanford changed past statements saying he had seen Chapur five times over the past year and not three as he had said in a press conference last week, the Associated Press reported.

At that press conference Stanford explained about a trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina the previous week which he did not tell his staff or wife about.

He confessed to having a personal relationship with Chapur which he described as a "love story, rather than an affair, the Associated Press reported today.

The governor said he met Chapur in Punta Del Este, Uruguay, in 2001 on a dance floor, according to the report. He said they have exchanged e-mails since then until the relationship became intimate a year ago.

Stanford also admitted having physical contact with other woman in the report but he said never had sexual relationship with them, only with Chapur.

The governor is married to Jenny Stanford, a former Wall Street executive. They have four children together. The couple has said they're trying to save the 20-year marriage but are not sharing the same house for the past couple of weeks. Stanford has not been clear if he still loves Chapur.
