Unconditional surrender of Hamas could halt war: IDF

Spokesperson of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), Jonathan Conricus, said a full surrender by the Hamas and the return of Israeli nationals taken hostage could finally put an end to the war.

Conricus' comments came amid anticipation of a ground incursion into the Gaza Strip following the Israeli government's instructions for civilians to evacuate southward last week.
