Jaden Smith is alive and well despite rumors saying the young actor has passed on.

There is a false report going around on Facebook saying Will Smith's son committed suicide. While Jaden has not addressed the hoax, the actor has recently been spotted with girlfriend Sarah Snyder watching shows at New York Fashion Week. The two were most recently spotted on Sunday at the Hood By Air show, according to Daily Mail. Prior to getting spotted at NYFW, the actor and Snyder were also reportedly seen having a double date with Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus.

This is not the first time Jaden became the victim of a death hoax. A couple of months ago, rumors that the actor took his life surfaced online, according to Chron. The false report also claimed that Angelina Jolie had died a month before Jaden did.

Jaden is not the only member of the Smith family who became the subject of an internet death hoax. His father, Will, experienced the same thing. A fake news with the headline “Will Smith dies after falling from cliff in New Zealand” surfaced two years ago, according to CBS. In October 2013, a similar thing went around online. A fake report claimed that Will died after a spinal surgery, but the report that went around on Facebook was intended to make people click a link which will lead them to an app that can hijack their account.

Will did not address the rumors. However, another celebrity who became a victim to false reports did. Celine Dion has been the subject of a number of death hoaxes, too, and in 2013, she finally spoke out. In an interview with Digital Spy, the singer said she gets a “little mad” whenever a fake news report about her supposed death comes out because her mother is already of old age, and she has to phone her and assure her that she's still alive before the fake news gets to her.
