Jason Mraz is now a happily married man. The singer wed his longtime girlfriend Sunday, Oct. 25.

The singer’s representative confirmed the couple’s nuptials to E!News, and shared that Mraz and fiancée Christina Carano tied the knot in an outdoor ceremony at the Pole Green Historic Church in Mechanicsville, Virginia. The Grammy award winner got married surrounded by the forest given the unique house outline décor of the venue. The couple invited around 50 family and friends to attend their wedding, which was led by Terces Engelhart of Cafe Gratitude.

For the wedding, Carano wore a long sleeved high collared white gown. Mraz’s bride accentuated her ensemble by wearing a pretty crown of flowers on her head. The “I’m Yours” crooner even took to Instagram to share a picture of his wife in front of the altar. He captioned the photo with heartwarming words, which also described how he felt about their union. Mraz wrote, “Today I was made the luckiest man in the world.”

According to E!News, the two first met in 2007 when Mraz visited a coffee shop in California that Carano used to own. However, it was only in 2011 when the two started dating.

In an interview with The Osider for the magazine’s August issue, Mraz recounted that when they first met, they were both dating other people and was busy with their own careers. The singer shared that they decided to date each other when they found themselves both single in 2011. During his interview with the magazine, Mraz also gushed about Carano and described her as “extremely generous” and how her smile “absolutely melts [him].”

Carano also told The Osider that she and Mraz “make a great team” and that they created a “really awesome life together.” She also had praises and compliments for Mraz, whom she described as a “most loving, generous and most hardworking man.”

“He inspires me and empowers me everyday to live my best life and he cares so deeply about the things that really matter,” she added. “We’re truly blessed in so many ways…”
