It seems like it is possible for reality stars to cross over to acting.

Jenni "JWoww" Farley is moving from the Jersey Shore to Llanview, TV Guide reported.

The reality star just landed an acting gig on the reboot of the soap opera “One Life to Live.” The recurring role is a different pace for Farley, who has been making a living by appearing on MTV’s reality shows since 2009. She has starred in "Jersey Shore" and most recently "Snooki & JWoww."

She’ll be playing Nikki, a bartender hired at trendy nightclub “Shelter.” The show will be premiering online April 29.

The character can mix an “Alabama Slammer as well as she can flirt with the customers,” TV Guide wrote.

The owner of the club, Blair Cramer, played by Kassie DePaiva, “knows that it's best to keep an eye on Nikki, who is the nightclub's newest barmaid, so things don't get out of control.”

It was rumored that, while Farley was practicing a fake smack with Josh Kelly, who plays Cutter Wentworth, she missed the “pretend” slap and actually hit him, TOLN wrote.

DePaiva’s most recent stint was on “General Hospital.” But due to a new barmaid, it seems like her character will have to leave Port Charles for a while.

Another reality star turned actor also made headlines this week. “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy made his debut on “General Hospital.” But unlike Farley, Chmerkovskiy’s role is temporary.

The pro dancer, who has been partnered with Kirstie Alley and Hope Solo on “DWTS,” was cast as Anton Ivanov and will be sharing scenes with “DWTS: All-Star” contestants and “GH” star Kelly Monaco.

The dancer also tweeted about the guest-starring role, writing, "Definitely had the best table at the [Nurse's] Ball [on 'General Hospital'] ;)"

Chmerkovskiy is not currently competing on “DWTS” for its 16th season, even though he remains under contract with them, Digital Spy wrote.
