Rumors about Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck reuniting made the rounds once again this week after the former couple was spotted arriving together for a funeral in Los Angeles. The speculation intensified after Garner was seen Monday flashing a huge smile during a coffee run in Santa Monica, California.

The 43-year-old actress stepped out with a friend showing off a make-up free, natural look, the Daily Mail reported. Garner was reportedly wearing a pair of classic blue skinny jeans teamed with a simple black t-shirt and flat shoes.

Over the weekend, OK! magazine reported Garner and Affleck had come together to attend the funeral of an unidentified person, according to the Inquistr. The report stated that there were suggestions that the passing of a family member might have brought Garner and Affleck together for the day, but it was still unusual that the former couple would choose to ride together.

Last month, a report claimed that Garner may be planning to delay her divorce as Affleck was on the verge of an emotional breakdown. However, Gossip Cop later clarified the report stating that the “Gone Girl” actor was not poised for a breakdown.

Garner and Affleck reportedly spent Christmas together for the sake of their children.

Last month, reports also surfaced that Garner is dating actor Patrick Dempsey, but the two have not responded to the rumors.

Hollywood Life reported that after the divorce announcement, Garner contacted Dempsey, who had ended his marriage with wife Jillian Fink. Garner and Dempsey opened up to each other over coffee, the report added.

“As soon as they started talking, the spark was evident to both of them. Jen was relieved — and excited,” a source told the magazine.
