Could Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck be getting back together? Not so fast. Although the exes are still living together and spent Christmas as a family, an insider reveals that Garner and Affleck are not mending their marriage.

Much speculation has been surrounding the Hollywood stars since they announced they were splitting in late June. Despite the rumors of infidelity and gambling problems, Garner and Affleck have managed to maintain an amicable breakup for their three children – Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 3. Rumors of the two reconciling are spreading, but an insider insists that they are still separated.

“It’s obvious many times that they both find it annoying to deal with each other,” a source told People magazine. “Understandably so. It’s a strange situation to live together and yet be separated.”

After 10 years of marriage, Affleck, 42, and Garner, 43, confirmed in June that they made the “difficult decision to divorce.”

“We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time,” the couple said in a joint statement. “This will be our only comment on this private, family matter. Thank you for understanding.”

Part of their commitment to co-parenting their young children includes Affleck living in the guesthouse of their Los Angeles home. The two have been photographed out on a handful of occasions and reportedly celebrated Christmas together with the kids in Montana.

“They continue to put the kids first and spend time with each other for the sake of their children,” an insider explained to E! News prior to the holiday.
