Jennifer Garner looked fabulous and elegant at the "Tribes of Palos Verdes" premiere on Friday.

For the event, the actress donned a one-shoulder red velvet gown with sweetheart neckline and asymmetrical hemline. The "Miracles from Heaven" star complemented her ensemble with dangling red beaded earrings, a diamond bracelet and green velvet heels. She wore hair locks down in beach waves, People reported.

After the event, Garner took to Instagram to promote the film. She shared a photo of her with co-star Maika Monroe and teased about her role in the film.

"'The Tribes of Palos Verdes', the little movie that could, premiered last night. I've never played anyone more different from me or more raw than Sandy Mason-- this is definitely an adult drama. Watch out for my girl," Garner wrote in the caption.

She also told Entertainment Tonight of the same thing in her previous interview with the publication about the film. "The character is something so different from anything I've played before," Garner said. "In a way, you grow into a space where you feel like, 'Why not? What do I have to lose?' and I'm a grown up, I've been doing this a long time. It's the same skills no matter what role you're doing, when someone offers you something like this you might as well just grab after it."

At the same event, Garner also shared how she would celebrate Thanksgiving. According to the "13 Going on 30" star, her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, and his mom, Christine Anne Boldt will be with her and the kids. She would be cooking for the family.

"Ben's mom, Chris [Boldt], will be in town and she and Ben will take the kids and I'll have crafts set up and I'll have T-Ball, soccer, I'll have anything set up," Garner told ET about their plans for the upcoming holiday.

"If they will play with the kids and just let me cook, it is heaven for me," Garner added. "I will make homemade bread, I'll make stuffing, I'll make a turkey, I'll make gravy, I'll make sweet potato pudding, I'll make pies. Just let me have that day in the kitchen."

Affleck and Garner announced their split in 2015. They share three children together: Violet, 11, Seraphina, 8, and Samuel, 5.
