Jennifer Lawrence may reunite with director David O. Russell, for the third time, in his untitled new film project.

According to Deadline, Russell is planning to re-write and direct an untitled Fox 2000 film about Joy Mangano, known as the inventor of the Miracle Mop and Huggable Hangers who overcame hardships as a struggling single mother of three to become a successful entrepreneur.

Russell reportedly wants Lawrence to play the role of Mangano, but there is no confirmation about whether he has approached her for the role. The subject of the biopic, Mangano, has about 100 patents to her name and is popular as the presenter on America’s QVC home-shopping network.

Lawrence has worked with Russell in “American Hustle” and “Silver Linings Playbook,” both of which won her Oscar nominations. She also won her first Oscar in the best supporting actress category for her role in “Silver Linings Playbook.”

Russell’s untitled project is scripted by Oscar-nominated Annie Mumolo, the writer behind “Bridesmaids.” John Davis and John Fox are producing for Fox-based Davis Entertainment, along with Ken Mok.

Lawrence will be seen in “X-Men: Days of Future Past” and is currently finishing the last installment of “The Hunger Games.” She will also reunite with Gary Ross in an adaptation of “East of Eden” and is also working on a movie based on the novel “Burial Rites.”
