Lopez and Rodriguez’s recent bonding session came just one day after the release of a new episode of “World of Dance” Season 1. Prior to Tuesday night’s installment, the “All I Have” singer posted a GIF of herself from the judges’ panel. In the video, Lopez couldn’t contain her excitement over one contestant’s performance. It was later on revealed that she got extremely happy watching Les Twins dance.

Meanwhile, “World of Dance” once again dominated Tuesday night’s 10 p.m. programming. According to TV by the Numbers, the hit NBC reality TV competition garnered a total of 6.88 million viewers and a 1.6 or 1.7 demo rating. Other shows that aired on the same time slot, namely, ABC’s “Somewhere Between,” and CBS’ “NCIS: New Orleans,” did not fare as well. “Somewhere Between” premiered with 1.76 million viewers and a 0.3 rating. “NCIS: New Orleans” closed with 5.33 million viewers and a 0.6 or 0.7 demo rating.

On Tuesday night’s episode, the final four spots in the divisional finals were filled. Les Twins and Keone & Mari will be representing the upper division and will also be competing against each other in the next round. Eva Igo and Diana Pombo will represent the junior category in the divisional finals next week. Swing Latino and Kinjaz, who are very different from each other, will be facing off on Tuesday night as the representatives from the team division.

After all six dancers have showcased their talents, three of them will be sent home. The three highest scorers will advance to the world finals two weeks from now. But in the end, only one dancer from either the junior, upper or team categories will bring home the $1 million grand prize.

“World of Dance” Season 1 airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
