Jessica Alba received attention for her petite frame after a recent Instagram photo. The actress shared a picture of her svelte body while she was in Thailand Saturday, but some worried her shape was bordering on “too skinny” even though she looked happy in the image.

“Jump for joy!” the mother of two, 33, captured the image, adding “#Thailand with my #BFF.” The bikini-clad actress and her friend are on a boat surrounded by beautiful dark blue water, but Alba’s skinny arms and protruding ribs caught the attention of many of her Instagram followers.

“You look anorexic! eat more!” kathis1601 said. “Omg she’s skinny!” jezze_2002 added.

Some, however, came to the “Sin City” star’s defense. “She was jumping so her ribs showed, most peoples ribs show when they jump,” cyanxox said. “It does not mean she's anorexic.”

Though some might think she’s too skinny, Alba told People magazine in May she likes to stay balanced. “I don’t deprive myself,” she said. “I have [junk] if I want it. When I do feel that I am depriving myself, I find that I binge. That’s not a balanced way to go about it.”

The Honest Co. founder opened up about her diet routine in the July issue of Self magazine. She lamented she hates to work out. "It's boring!” she said. “I really only did it when I had a job that was physically demanding.”

Alba said she and her daughters follow the same food regimen. "We eat mostly lean protein and fresh fruit and vegetables, nothing processed or from a box, if we can,” she said, according to Us Weekly. “For me, when I don’t eat a ton of carbs, I have more energy.”

Alba ignored the negative comments from Saturday’s photo and continued to share pictures from Thailand, where she is filming “Mechanic: Resurrection.”
