On Wednesday, for good, at least for now Jets quarterback Brett Farve says he's retiring.

In a telephone conversation with New York Jets owner Woody Johnson and general manager Mike Tannenbaum, Brett Favre confirmed his retirement.

Future Hall of Fame quarterback Farve retired last March only to sign with the Jets to play in 2008. Favre leaves the NFL as the all-time leader in passing yards, touchdowns and most games played in succession.

The 39-year-old Favre, has had a glorious 18-year NFL career, including 16 years with the Green Bay Packers where he won his one and only Super Bowl ring. Some report says that it's time to retire for him after defying age and injuries for 18 seasons in a league. Some Fans says No Favre, No thrill.
