Joe Satriani is to serve Coldplay band at the Grammy's Award Ceremony on Sunday in Staples, Los Angeles, over their alleged plagiarism, according to reports.

Satriani filed a suit in U.S. federal court in December 2008, after claiming their recent single 'Viva La Vida' was a based on his song 'If I Could Fly.' In the reports Satriani's lawyer Howard King says, We have warned their British lawyer and has hired a team to dog the band everywhere they go so the papers can be served personally.

Coldplay, made up of front man Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, and Will Champion, have said they find the incident frustrating and annoying. But still will perform at Grammy for they have been nominated for seven awards including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Best Rock Album for Viva La Vida.
