John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are being blackmailed - just weeks after their son Jett died from a seizure.

The Daily Mail reports that Travolta has allegedly been contacted by two extortionists who are demanding millions of dollars for a photo they have of Jett, taken while he was dying.

The photograph, which was taken with a cellphone, is of Jett lying in the back of an ambulance.

The alleged extortionists threatened to publish the photo of the 16-year-old from Grand Bahama.

Police in the Bahamas, where Jett died from a seizure on Jan. 2, are questioning two people. One of the suspected blackmailers is thought to be a politician.

In a statement, Travolta's lawyers Mike Ossi and Howard Butler said: In a time of such terrible grief, there are often a few who attempt to make false claims in hopes of making millions.

We will never let this happen. We have confidence in the Bahamian police.
