Johnny Depp has found himself a part of Forbes’ list of most overpaid actors in Hollywood. However, the actor is now on the top of the list.

The 52-year-old actor was named as Hollywood’s most overpaid actor in 2015, according to Forbes. To come up with the list, Forbes looked at the last three films that the actors participated in before June 2015. Animated film projects were not included in Forbes’ review, as well as movies which were shown to less than 2,000 screens. Projects in which the actor had an insignificant role was also removed from the list.

Depp’s previous films such as the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie series may have grossed a combined $3.7 billion in ticket sales, Forbes reported. However, the actor’s recent films such as “Mortdecai” or “Transcendence” have failed to rake in huge earnings. The two movies only returned $1.20 for every $1 that Depp was paid. “Mortdecai” had a $60 million budget but only grossed $47 million, while Depp’s “Transcendence” just barely recovered its $100 million budget.

This is the first time that Depp has landed on the top of Forbes’ most overpaid actors list, although he was at the number two spot in last year’s list. According to Us Weekly, Adam Sandler previously held the top spot for the last two years.

Other actors who made it to Forbes’ list includes Denzel Washington who nabbed the second place. The actor’s latest films returned $6.50 for every $1 paid to Washington. The three actors who made it to the top 5 of Forbes list are Will Ferrell, Liam Neeson and Will Smith. Apart from these stars, some of Hollywood’s A-listers have also made it to bottom 5 of Forbes’ most overpaid actors list. Christian Bale landed at the number 6 spot, followed by Channing Tatum, Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck. “Mission Impossible” actor Tom Cruise nabbed the 10th spot of Forbes’ list.
