A million dollar smile

The famous smile of Julia Roberts has earned her 1.2 million euros or around $1.14 million for a 45-second ad for the Italian coffee Lavazza, reports the Daily Mail.

In the ad, Sandro Bottecelli is painting her as Venus for his famous painting Spring Allegory and cajoling her to give that perfect smile of hers, to no effect.

Then Paolo Bonolis and Luca Laurenti, two Italian media personalities have the bright idea of offering her Lavazza’s A Modo Mio coffee and la pronto we have her flashing her pearly white smile.

The commercial will be released in Italy at Christmas time.

This is not the first time that Julia has taken home a million plus salary for a day’s work. In 2006, she earned $5 million for endorsing Gainfranco Ferre and Julia Roberts reportedly charged $20 million for Pretty Woman.

In 2007, Forbes magazine estimated her earnings for the year at $9 million. Her latest outing in Eat Pray and Love earned her $10million. All her films together have grossed nearly $2 billion making her one of the best selling female movie stars .
