    Former supermodel Janice Dickinson has been open about the abuse she suffered at the hands of her father. As the Daily Mail reported, during her 2011 stint on “Celebrity Rehab,” Dickinson blamed her inability to kick a prescription drug habit on the distress she once endured. “My dad had rage issues,” she said in the episode. “And I'm afraid -- afraid that I will never get a grip on child abuse.”

    In a 2008 interview with Oprah’s O magazine, Sally Field spoke candidly about the fear and abuse she faced growing up as a result of her father. “There was always the threat of violence in the air, and, a few times, it turned physical. I never felt safe,” Field said. “The emotional abuse was even worse.”

    In his 2002 song “Cleaning Out My Closet,” Eminem chronicled his difficult relationship with his mother, who suffered from Münchausen syndrome by proxy, causing her to inflict physical and emotional pain on her son in order to fulfill her delusions that he was chronically ill. In the song, the rapper referred to his mother as a "victim of Münchausen's syndrome.” Adding, “My whole life I was made to believe I was sick when I wasn't."

Julianne Hough is opening up about the abuse she suffered at the age of 10. In an interview with Cosmopolitan, the “Safe Haven” star reveals that while training at the Italia Conti Academy of Arts in London, she was tormented by an unidentified abuser.

"I was abused, mentally, physically, everything," she said.

The 24-year-old declined to provide further details of the abuse or give any clues about the cuplrit, saying only, “I'm a very forgiving person, and I don't want to hurt anybody. What's past is past."

The actress is one of many celebs who have faced child abuse.
