Professional dancer turned actress Julianne Hough had a major wardrobe malfunction after the 70th annual Golden Globes award show Sunday night.

Luckily for the former pint-sized star of “Dancing With The Stars,” her wardrobe malfunction occurred after one of the biggest events in show business wrapped up for the night.

Hough threw on a new dress and headed to a swanky InStyle and Warner Bros. after-party with some of Hollywood’s best, but her expensive blush-colored Jenny Packham gown didn’t make it out of the party in one piece.

Hough wrote in a Instagram photo that displayed her warped gown:

"I think I may have danced too hard," speaking of the fun she had accidentally tearing two thigh-high slits in her dress, "Eeek!"

Amused by the malfunction, Hough posted another quip on Instagram: "I love to dance regardless of how expensive a dress may be. You can't hold me down!"

Her brother and fellow pro dancer Derek got in on the joke by posting his own picture from the after-party:

"What can you do when your a dancer?" he noted about his sister’s damaged ensemble.

Earlier in the day the “Safe Haven” star had worn an embroidered Monique Lhuillier dress on the red carpet and was praised by E! network correspondent and boyfriend Ryan Seacrest for her look:

"I must say, Julianne Hough looked great tonight on the red carpet," he said on E! News. "Right at the top of my list."
