Justin Bieber allegedly fled after he drove his Ferrari into a photographer on Monday night, TMZ reported, adding that the police are investigating the case.
The incident occurred around 11:45 p.m. local time (2:45 a.m. EDT) while Bieber was leaving the comedy club, Laugh Factory, on Sunset Boulevard, according to TMZ. Bieber was accompanied by singer Lil Twist when he ran the infamous white Ferrari into the photographer.
Reportedly, Bieber requested the paparazzi to move out of the way as soon as he got into the car. But the photographer was pinned between the Ferrari and a parked car, the TMZ report said.
The photographer, who some witnesses said hurt his leg, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Bieber did not stop the car after hitting the photographer, according to TMZ.
Bieber’s white Ferrari has often landed the teen sensation in trouble. In May, the singer terrorized his neighbors by speeding through the streets of his California neighborhood.
Former American footballer Keyshawn Johnson was among Bieber’s neighbors who complained to Los Angeles police officials about his reckless driving, saying that the Canadian singer could have struck his three-year old, the Guardian reported.
