Hundreds of teenage girls skipped a breath in Midtown this afternoon after a scuffle between an undercover police officer and a bodyguard left Justin Bieber jolted.
The incident occurred outside Macy's Herald Square where a large crowd of teens converged hoping for photographs with the 17-year-old singing sensation causing police barricades to be knocked down.
The officer who was not identified acted in an effort to protect Bieber from the screaming crowd causing the Baby singer's bodyguard to grab him and try to pull him away.
Bieber who went to Macy's to sign autographs and unveil his new fragrance Someday, was escorted into the store by a throng of bodyguards and police.
The bodyguard, who pushed the officer away was given a summons for disorderly conduct, according to police.
