The list of clubs Justin Bieber is welcome to return to likely just got a little smaller. The Southampton nightclub South Pointe has said that it is reviewing its security footage after the 19-year-old singer and his entourage were involved in a violent incident on their premises on Saturday.

The “Beauty and a Beat” singer arrived at the club accompanied by his crew at around 2 a.m. and promptly “took over” the VIP lounge in a visit that ended in a bloody fight. According to the New York Daily News, Bieber got into a fight with jealous male clubgoer after the man’s female friend tried to flirt with the singer.

Several other patrons also complained that they had also attempted to socialize with the pop star but had been handled roughly by members of his security team. Witnesses described Bieber’s bodyguards as “intimidating,” and “overbearing.” “They were heavy-handed in their protection of him,” an attendee said.

Several other guests at the exclusive club reported that they had had flashlights shone in their faces after trying to take photos of the star on their cellphones. But Bieber’s visit was apparently cut short after he “went nuts” during an exchange with the male guest who supposedly took offense to his interaction with his female friend.

“He [Bieber) ripped his shirt off and went nuts,” a source told the publication. “He was screaming.” Sources said that the ensuing fight involved Bieber’s friends and bodyguards as well as several clubgoers. One source said that blood was shed during the incident. Shortly after the altercation broke out, Bieber’s security team moved the star out into the club’s parking lot, where his drivers were waiting for him.

Although a publicist for Bieber denied that there had been a fight, telling the Daily News that, “Justin was not involved in any altercation,” an employee for South Pointe acknowledged that there had been an “incident” and said that it was being investigated.

The spat marks just the latest violent club encounter Bieber has had in recent months. In April the singer was banned from the Vienna nightclub Passage after female clubgoers complained that his bodyguards had grabbed them and broken at least one woman’s cell phone.

He was also turned away from the nightclub London's Cirque Du Soir on his 19th birthday, which he referred to as his “worst” ever, because he reportedly attempted to bring in underage friends. The disappointing incident prompted him to have a “meltdown” on Twitter. In June he was captured on video on a Toronto balcony, reportedly spitting on fans below who had come to see him.
