Close on the heels of various reports stating that Justin Bieber is addicted to marijuana, the pilot of a private jet the Canadian teenager hired during a coast-to-coast flight has shed light on the singer’s weed-smoking habit.

According to a TMZ report, the pilot said that Bieber and his gang of friends got so high on weed in their SUV on their way to the airport that when the doors opened, a huge cloud of smoke billowed out.

"I almost had to put on an oxygen mask," the pilot said, adding, "It was like 'Cheech and Chong Up In Smoke."

The pilot said that Bieber was so “baked out of his mind” that when he was asked to sign a credit card authorization, Bieber asked "huh, what? Who am I signing this for?"

A few months back, Bieber grabbed headlines when a photograph of him smoking pot emerged online, and soon after Bieber fans took to Twitter advising the singer to give up the habit.

In response, Bieber wrote on his Twitter account: “i see all of u. i hear all of u. i never want to let any of you down. i love u. and..thank u.” He added: “everyday growing and learning. trying to be better. u get knocked down, u get up.”

In July, U.S. border authorities found marijuana on Bieber’s tour bus, but the singer was not on the bus at the time. And, last month, Bieber and his entourage were checked by plainclothes officers at Fort Lauderdale, Fla., after they received a tip-off that Bieber was carrying drugs.

“The reason cops searched the bags is because they received an anonymous tip someone in Justin's party had drugs in their luggage. Justin's bags, along with the bags of his entourage, were searched. Cops found nothing,” TMZ reported.
