According to the Daily Mail, OK! dropped $1 million for photos of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas’ nuptials in 2000.
As Forbes reported, photos of the 2006 commitment ceremony between Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K. Stern where sold through Getty images to People magazine for $1 million. Smith died of a drug overdose about three months later.
Kim Kardashian’s infamous 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries kicked off with a lavish Montecito, Calif., ceremony. According to the Hollywood Reporter, People shelled out a whopping $1.5 million for photos of the highly publicized event.
Photos of the grandiose Parisian wedding between Eva Longoria and Tony Parker sold for an astounding $2 million to OK! in 2007. The pair split in late 2010.
In 2005, Ok! purchased photos of Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s Beverly Hills Kabbalah wedding for an unprecedented $3 million. The pair split in 2011.
Those eager to learn more about Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s Italian wedding are in luck. Page Six is reporting that the pair sold their wedding photos to People for $300,000. The pics will appear in this week’s print and online issue.
There’s no disputing that Timberlake and Biel have scored a lucrative deal with the outlet, but several celeb couples have earned larger sums for photos of their nuptials.
