Kanye West gave his recent collaboration with Adidas footwear its debut at New York Fashion Week Friday the 13th. With a bevy of big celebrities in attendance, the high-profile event showed off West’s new line of shoes after his very public split with Nike, as well as an entire array of clothing.

According to GQ, the rapper’s split with Nike allegedly was caused by its purported refusal to pay him royalties on his product sales.

After keeping many who wanted to attend waiting a bit too long, as per the Washington Post, the man behind “Yeezus” unveiled a line of earth-toned athletic leisure clothes to coincide with the release of his Yeezy 750 Boost, which will be available for purchase Feb. 28.

Among the stars in attendance were power couple Beyonce and Jay Z, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Kylie Jenner (as a model), Rihanna, Anna Wintour, West’s wife Kim Kardashian, their baby North West and many others. Curiously enough, Taylor Swift was conspicuously absent at the show, despite being invited, according to People Magazine.

“She was supposed to be here today, I don’t know what happened,” West replied when asked if he’d like to see the “1989” singer in a pair of his shoes. “I’d like to see everyone wearing everything. ... I’d like to see everyone wearing nothing.”

In the same interview, West described the challenges of creating his latest fashion line. “We broke a lot of the previous ways that they would go about working on things. This became about the technology and the resources,” West told Vogue in a video interview. “They [Adidas] really supported me as a creative to get across a real vision.”
