The British Royal family are on the second day of their eight-day Royal Tour of Canada. Prince William, Duchess Kate and their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte arrived in Vancouver on Saturday, dressed and ready for a slew of Royal visits.
British Royal Tours traditionally receive a lot of hype thanks to the carefully considered wardrobe prep for the location of choice. For the next week, Kate Middleton will be ogled and analyzed around the world as the consistently chic Duchess dons her daily outfits.
On the first day of the tour, the 34-year-old Duchess wore a deep blue Jenny Packham suit dress, cut within an inch of her life, and accessorized it with a fascinator by Jane Taylor and a diamond maple leaf brooch.
Sunday, the British Royal couple accompanied Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and his wife Sophie Trudeau, on a visit to the Canadian Coast Guard and Vancouver First Responders Event. Middleton stunned in a red and white embroidered eyelet lace dress that hit just above the knee, worn with matching red heels and a clutch.
Her dress, a folk-like Alexander McQueen number, said to be around $5,200 according to Vanity Fair, was exquisitely paired with red pumps by L.K. Bennett and a red Miu Miu clutch. She also wore a small silver watch and tiny drop earrings.
For those who are looking to achieve Duchess Kate’s effortlessly polished look for less, there is no shortage of options and retailers available to re-create the look for well under $800.
