Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, undertook her first visit to a school in Oxford as a royal patron Tuesday.

Kate is the patron of the charity, the Art Room, which works for children with fewer advantages.

Dressed in a chic jacquard dress by designer Orla Kiely, Kate was all smiles as she met and greeted school children.

The Duchess sported a smart appearance in her knee-length dress, which she teamed with brown tights and brown suede ankle boots. She accessorized herself with a black clutch, and her engagement ring was prominently visible.
