Kate Middleton and Prince William are going through marriage troubles and the two are "heading towards couples therapy," InTouch Weekly reported Wednesday. The news comes amid several rumors over the past few months that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting her third child.

“Plagued by personal and royal tensions, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s five-year union hits a rough patch,” a source told the magazine. “Five years after tying the knot at Westminster Abbey as millions of people tuned in across the globe, William and Kate’s marriage is in trouble and they’re heading towards couples therapy.

“They’re dealing with all the usual problems married couples face, but they also have the extra pressure of being in the public eye,” the source reportedly said. “Their issues are on an even bigger scale, and they’re constantly arguing at the moment about the pressure Kate is under, William’s attitude about it and how to raise their kids. They’re going through a very rocky patch.”

However, Gossip Cop debunked the report saying that Middleton and William are not having any marriage issues.

Earlier this month, rumors about Middleton's third pregnancy resurfaced after the Daily Star reported Middleton wants to have a third baby and is hoping to conceive later this year. Life & Style magazine had also previously reported Middleton was pregnant with twins. However, Gossip Cop debunked the pregnancy rumors at the time.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time William and Middleton have been surrounded with rumors of a troubled marriage. Last year, several reports claimed that the royal couple was having a disagreement over the number of children they wanted, leading to their marital problems.
