Kate Middleton and Prince William are apparently facing marital troubles, and the reason behind these problems could be their disagreement over the number of children the couple wants, according to reports.

Earlier this month, a source told Hollywood Life that the 33-year-old Duchess of Cambridge wanted a third baby by the time she was 35. The source also said that Middleton wanted four children by the age of 40. However, William is not too keen on having a big family, Bustle reported, adding that "there are claims that Middleton and Prince William aren't on the same page when it comes to how many children they want."

Recently, there have been rumors that William is finding it difficult to deal with Middleton’s postpartum depression. In addition, rumors of the duchess being pregnant with her third child were doing the rounds. Gossip Cop recently reported, citing a source, that these rumors were “completely untrue.”

Meanwhile, Middleton will resume her royal duties from Thursday. She is scheduled to visit Anna Freud Centre, a child mental health research, training and treatment center in London. The next day, she will be seen with husband, Prince William, and brother-in-law, Prince Harry, at the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2015, which will start at Twickenham in southwest London.
