Kate Middleton and Prince William’s daughter, Princess Charlotte, has reportedly started learning how to play tennis.

The two-year-old has fallen in love with the sport just like her older brother, Prince George. A source told The Sun that Princess Charlotte plays tennis at London’s Hurlingham, a club that’s famous for its exclusivity.

“She might not be three until May but they were convinced she’d love it and so far she has. She seems a bit of a natural,” the source said.

However, some patrons of Hurlingham have commented negatively on Princess Charlotte playing tennis there. After all, her parents are non-members of the club. “Unfortunately some patrons feel Charlotte shouldn’t be allowed play there. Club rules are usually very rigid, and they don’t see why exceptions should be made, even if they happen to be royal,” a source said.

A rep for the palace refused to comment.

In October, the Duchess of Cambridge opened up about Prince George also learning how to play tennis. Middleton said that the 4-year-old seems to be more interested in “whacking the ball.”

Middleton also asked Lawn Tennis Association coach Sam Richardson for advice on how to encourage her kids to become tennis enthusiasts. “She says with George just being four he wants to whack a ball, so she was asking what sort of stuff she should be doing. They will struggle at that age to hit a ball. She said he’s interested in it, but more in whacking the ball,” Richardson told Hello! magazine.

The wife of Prince William is an avid tennis player. She frequently attends the Wimbledon and became an official patron for the event this year. Middleton recently visited the National Tennis Centre, where she showed off her skills in playing the sport.

More specifically, she participated in the Tennis for Kids session, which is aimed at encouraging kids between the ages of five and eight to engage in the sport. According to Vanity Fair, the soon to be mom of three has a tennis court at her home in Anmer Halll.
