Kate Middleton, Duchess of Cambridge and her husband Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, made quite the stylish hospital visit on Thursday.

The Duke and Duchess were on hand to open a new children's cancer unit at the Royal Marsden hospital in Sutton. Hospital staff, patients, families and royal enthusiasts greeted the couple with flowers, gifts and colorful posters.

The pair also met with cancer patient Alice Marples, who interviewed the Duke two years ago for a BBC Newsround program, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Duchess wore a beige knee-length dress with nude heels and a gold clutch while her husband sported a simple navy suit, complete with a maroon tie.

The always stylish Duchess has been a topic among thrifty shoppers recently. According to WhatKateWore.com, the 29-year-old knows how to save when it comes to shopping.

I saw all her rewards cards [to accumulate points at stores] she carries. She had to shift through them to find her Visa card, the blog wrote.
