In a recent trip to Canada, Kate Middleton revealed that she and Prince William want to have children.

As a group of fans in Quebec City on July 3 greeted The Duchess of Cambridge, Middleton reportedly said, Yes, I hope to in response to having children in the near future.

Having never publicly made a comment about starting a family, Kate's overheard sentiment is the first clue to the beginning of a royal family.

According to People magazine, Kate Middleton and Prince Williams were approached by two little girls outside of City Hall to give the newlywed couple flowers. David Cheater, the father of one of the little girls, reported that Middleton said his daughter was beautiful, grazed her hand over his daughter's head and smiled.

After Cheater wished her and Prince William well starting a family, she responded, Yes, I hope to.
