Kate Middleton will reportedly throw a private baby shower for Meghan Markle in London.

Just last week, royal experts said that the Duchess of Cambridge should consider giving the Duchess of Sussex a party in the United Kingdom simply because the gathering is part of Markle’s American roots. Now, a source told Us Weekly that the private party ahead of Markle’s baby’s arrival will most likely take place.

“There is still going to be some sort of private baby-centric event for Meghan’s U.K. people, and Kate will host. Her glam people and other relatives will be there… Not sure if it’s a total baby ‘shower,’ but you could probably call it that,” the source said.

Earlier this month, Markle flew to New York for her lavish baby shower that was organized by her closet friends in the United States. The celebration was held at The Mark Hotel and was attended by Jessica Mulroney, Gayle King, Amal Clooney, and more.

Details from the baby shower revealed that the entire suite was adorned in pink hues. However, Markle’s friends brought presents wrapped in blue paper. This led royal fans to speculated that Markle could either be having twins or that she was having either a boy or a girl.

But it is also possible that Markle’s friends’ decision to use pink hues and give presents with blue-colored wrappers was done in support of Markle and Prince Harry’s desire to raise their child without gender stereotypes.

Meanwhile, Markle was also criticized for allowing her friends to organize an expensive baby shower for her. Paul Burrell, Princess Diana’s former royal butler, said that Prince William would have been furious with Markle because the celebration made it seem as though she was a celebrity and not a royal.

However, royal commentator Omid Scobie said that this wouldn’t have been the case because Prince William and Kate Middleton have also spent a huge sum of money on everything related to their children.
