Kate Middleton’s go-to designer Jenny Packham married her longtime partner Matthew Anderson at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London Saturday. She did not opt for the traditional white wedding gown, but went in for a subtle gray lace dress. The British fashion designer, who is known for her bridal gowns, wore her own creation and stunned everyone with her choice of wedding gown.

The 50-year-old designer opted to be a modern bride in a dove gray guipure lace midi dress. The confection featured three-quarter length sleeves, high neckline. Packham paired the dress with matching crossover strappy heels.

The designer accessorized her wedding dress with a delicate net headpiece with pearl embellishments and a slim gold bangle, drop earrings. Her bridal make-up consisted of brown lipstick, dark manicured nails and smoky eyes. Her hair was styled into a scooped back do.

Matthew, who is the CEO of their company looked dapper in a dark gray chequered suit and trousers, which he paired with a blue shirt and black tie. He pinned a white rose to his lapel. Matthew completed his look in a pair of brown brogues and a gold watch.

One of the favorite designers of the Duchess of Cambridge, Packham is known for her flowing gowns, beaded embellishments and flattering necklines. The designer’s clientele include the likes of Angelina Jolie, Charlize Theron, Blake Lively and Emily Blunt as well as Kate’s younger sister Pippa Middleton, Lily Aldridge and Taylor Swift. Earlier this year Kim Sears married tennis ace Andy Murray in a custom Jenny Packham wedding gown.

Jenny took to Instagram to announce the intimate wedding. She shared a picture with the followers with the caption: “19.12.15 Mathew and I married! @mo_hydepark photo by @tonjethoresen.” Matthew and Jenny’s love story dates back to the time they were students.

Packham was then studying design at St Martins and Matthew was pursuing his studies at Central. They currently live in their home in Hampstead, north London. The couple have two teenage daughters Georgina and Isabella.
