Kesha is finally coming out with a new album, four years after her last record.

Sony Music announced the news via a statement, saying they can guarantee that the music that will come from Kesha will be on par, in terms of quality, with the ones she came out with in the past.

“We hope to share exciting new music with Kesha fans soon,” the label told Buzzfeed.

Kesha’s career took a pause when she accused her long-time producer Dr. Luke, real name Lukasz Gottwald, of sexual and emotional abuse. Gottwald, however, denied all the allegations and said Kesha only claimed those things because she wanted to cut ties with his label, Kemosabe. Gottwald also sued Kesha’s mother, Pebe Sebert, for defamation twice.

After a couple of years battling Gottwald in court, Kesha, whose real name is Kesha Rose Sebert, dropped the charges she made against Gottwald in August.

“Kesha has been trying for six months to record and release new music,” Kesha’s lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said. “Only in the last month, after our last court hearing, has any progress been made, but it is hardly enough. Kesha still has received no commitments on promotions, songs, or even a release date.”

Petrocelli also said that Kesha is hoping that things will get sorted out soon. He added that the singer has already submitted 28 songs to Kemosabe but has not heard about what to do next or how long she will have to wait till an album is recorded.

While not allowed to release new music, Kesha performed Bob Dylan’s “It Ain’t Me, Babe” at the Billboard Music Awards in May with permission from Dr. Luke’s label. The singer was allowed to perform after Dr. Luke’s camp withdrew their stance on the issue. Kemosabe reportedly thought Kesha would use the platform to take a jab at Dr. Luke.

Kesha’s last album was titled “Warrior.”
