The first wedding anniversary of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is fast approaching. The entertainment power couple was married May 24, 2014, in a lavish weeklong celebration that started in Paris and ended in Florence, Italy. Kim recently talked about their anniversary plans and the possibility of renewing their vows in Paris.

Kim told E! Online that the couple will probably just chill out at their new home. However, she immediately said that perhaps her husband has something planned. After all, Kanye always has a surprise or two up his sleeve. “I wouldn’t put it past him to do something special,” Kim said.

The interviewer followed up by asking if they would renew their vows. Kim said they wouldn’t do it on their first anniversary, but perhaps after about 10 years of marriage. But despite what Kim said, Us Weekly reported that the couple would renew their vows in Paris. The report claimed that Kanye had chosen the Eiffel Tower as the backdrop for the presumed vow renewal.

Paris is a special place for the couple. They spent a week there with family and friends before they shuttled everyone on private jets to their wedding location in Florence last year. But the E! Online report insists that a spokesperson for Kim has denied the reports of a Paris trip.

Regardless of what their real plans are, Kanye made a grand gesture Sunday when he sent Kim what she said were thousands of flowers for Mother’s Day. She had to be in Brazil for work on that day so he filled her suite with white roses. She posted a photo of the roses on Instagram and sent her thanks to her "amazing, thoughtful husband."

The couple moved in to their new home just a few months ago. They have a daughter, North West, who is nearly 2 years old and have been open about wanting to add another child to their small family. Kim was seen undergoing surgery on her uterus in a recent episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” in order to help her conceive.
