Kanye West Robbed
It appears that Kanye West's home was robbed Wednesday while he was away living the good life on tour in England with girlfriend Kim Kardashian, according to a TMZ report. Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West may be the next celebrity couple to get married if reports that the rapper is designing an engagement ring with which to propose to the reality TV star are true.

Actually, Yeezy has hired a jeweler to make a unique engagement ring for his girlfriend Kim Kardashian, according to RadarOnline.com, and has requested that the artisan use diamonds and rubies Yeezy selected from his late mother Donda's personal jewelry stash in order to make it.

But before Kanye West, 35 can make the most-famous Kardashian into a West, Kim -- the star of TV's Keeping Up With The Kardashians -- must finalize her divorce from New Jersey (soon-to-be Brooklyn) Nets player Kris Humphries.

Her marriage to Humphries barely lasted two months, and now Kanye West reportedly wants to propose to her only a few months later? That's the life of Kim Kardashian, one of the most closely-watched celebrities on Earth.

So despite how crazy it sounds to many celeb-watchers, once the divorce is final, RadarOnline.com reports that Kanye really does plan to propose to Kim K, and that he hopes to marry her in his hometown of Chicago, or Oklahoma, where Donda is buried.

Kanye picked out some of Donda's most expensive pieces, including some diamond earrings and a ruby ring, a source close to Kanye told the gossip website. He then gave them to a private jeweler friend to make Kim a one-of-a-kind engagement ring. Donda was such an important person in Kanye's life, he thought the world of her and was devastated when she died. So, he kept all her jewelry as keepsakes - a lot of the pieces were items he bought over the years after he made it as a hip-hop star. And now, Kanye has found a woman he respects and loves just as much as his mom, so he wants to share her jewelry collection with Kim ... He's hoping to propose to Kim with the ring when she finally gets divorced.

Though the story of his mother's diamond and gems ending up on his girl's fingers is an adorable one, some of Kanye West's friends apparently told the website that they are worried that the sentimental ring may end up in 31-year-old Kim Kardashian's permanent collection if they break up:

His friends think it's a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring, the source told RadarOnline.com. Because it's a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever split up They've also reminded him that Kim is not somebody who works hard for her money. She makes millions doing reality shows and selling her image, and Donda's jewelry shouldn't be part of that image.
