In late 2011, Kobe Bryant and his wife, Vanessa, were heading for a divorce. A little more than a year later, however, the couple is officially back together.

"We are pleased to announce that we have reconciled," Vanessa Bryant posted on Instagram last week. "Our divorce action will be dismissed. We are looking forward to our future together. Kobe & Vanessa.”

The Los Angeles Lakers star also confirmed that the separation was off, via social media.

"I am happy to say that Vanessa and I are moving on with our lives together as a family,” said Kobe on Facebook. “When the show ends and the music stops, the journey is made beautiful by having that someone to share it with. Thank you all for your support and prayers! Much luv, Mamba out."

Vanessa filed for divorce in December 2011 because of “irreconcilable differences.” The couple was reported to be estranged for a short while, but were spotted together on multiple occasions towards the end of 2012.

TMZ cameras saw the couple in New York leaving the 12-12-12 Sandy Concert for Sandy Relief. The entertainment news outlet also caught them out together on New Year’s Eve.

Rumors of a reconciliation between the couple grew even stronger when it was reported that they took a family Christmas photo. According to the Daily Mail, Kobe, Vanessa and their two daughters sent out a greeting card that read: “Merry Christmas, Kobe, Vanessa, Natalia and Gianna – 2012.”

The Bryants' marriage woes have been a subject in the news for almost a decade. The NBA star was accused of sexual assault in 2003. Though the chargers were eventually dropped, Kobe did admit to having an affair with his accuser.

Now, the couple seems to have moved on after working through their problems, which is good news for Kobe’s finances. According to a New York Post report from a year ago, Vanessa was set to receive $75 million, as well as three houses properties that the couple owned.
