Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner gushed over Kanye West while opening up about her middle daughter Khloe Kardashian and her offspring’s NBA husband Lamar Odom amid the divorce rumors swirling around the couple.

The rapper West has become roommates with the family of the former hostess of the “Kris” talk show since North West, his daughter with Kim Kardashian, was born June 15. “I love him [West] so much, and he’s such an amazing boyfriend to Kim and a great dad and a wonderful person,” Jenner told Ross Matthews on “Hello Ross” Friday, according to E Online. “He’s creative, and he’s an amazing, amazing human being, he really is. And he doesn’t always do interviews and get the chance to really express himself like that, so I was really glad that I got a chance to sit down and talk with him,” she added.

“And that’s why I thought it was so cool to have him on my show, and I got to sit down with him for an entire hour, and I think people saw this other side to him,” the 57-year-old celebrity said. “And it made me so happy that, you know, you guys got to see the Kanye that I know at home.”

The infamous “momager” didn’t directly address any of the the specifics when it comes to her daughter Khloe Kardashian’s marital woes, like how the former Los Angeles Lakers star is allegedly hooked on crack cocaine and reportedly cheated on his wife with several different women.

Instead, Jenner was more abstract in an interview with E News Friday. “She [Khloe] is resilient, but she is very strong,” Jenner told the media outlet. “She’s very sensitive and she loves really hard and she feels with all of her soul.” She added, “But she also has the ability to put that game face on and go out there in the world and do what she needs to do.”

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is shown on the E cable channel Sundays at 9 p.m. EDT.
