Kardashian-Jenner matriarch Kris Jenner is getting some online flak after refusing to use the N-word on Instagram. In a post about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding anniversary, Jenner referred to the title of son-in-law Kanye’s song “N----- in Paris,” but instead called it “Great People in Paris.” The change caused some fans to slam Jenner for not using the original title.

“End of the night ...And of course in the rain, under umbrellas, Kanye treated us to Fireworks... And if you listen closely...his huge hit song "Great People in Paris"..... ...and boy did we dance the night away ... Especially Khloe #justsayin” said Kris in a caption for an Instagram video. She posted it as part of a series of throwback photos taken last year during the “Kimye” wedding.

The Inquisitr called it a “damned if you don’t, damned if you do” situation, after Jenner refused to use the controversial N-word. A stream of comments came in with many of them laughing or posting laughing emojis. Others were harsher with their comments, calling Jenner “ignorant” or using expletives.

However, some fans also came out to defend Jenner. While others were hating, several fans commended her for taking the sensitive option. Some fans got into heated arguments with each other due to their opposing opinions on Jenner’s choice of words.

To date, the post has reached over 97,000 likes and there are close to 1,400 comments. The media has also taken notice of the situation, with websites like TMZ and VH1 writing about the post. Whether it was the right move or not, the safer choice did not necessarily please everybody.
