The U.S. government has appointed a new company as the main supplier to its military in Kuwait and Iraq, replacing Kuwait's Agility which will continue for six more months, Agility said on Thursday.

Shares of the logistics firm were halted for trading, it said in a statement on the Kuwaiti bourse earlier on Thursday.
