Fashion and beauty entrepreneur, Kylie Jenner, is being urged to get a restraining order against an obsessed fan, who was caught trying to break into her home on Christmas Eve. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department has reportedly advised the 18-year-old TV star to take the precaution, so that they can help keep her safe.

Following the incident on Christmas Eve, an unidentified man was taken into police custody for trying to force his way through security at Kylie’s home in Calabasas, California. Unfortunately, police are only allowed to keep him for 72 hours under psychiatric hold. This is why the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star is being urged to get a restraining order.

According to TMZ, the obsessed fan may not be inclined to follow any restriction, but a restraining order helps police have more control over the situation. In the event that he attempts to get near Kylie or her home again, the police will be able to arrest him, and detain him for a longer period of time.

A restraining order will prohibit the fan from coming within a football field’s distance from Kylie or her home. Any violation of which will be grounds for an arrest. The man has reportedly been seen around Kylie’s property at least 10 times, before he forcibly tried to enter the house last week. The multiple sightings are enough to cause major concern.

Kylie’s mom, Kris Jenner, has also been taking extra security precautions at her own home. Following an intrusion that took place earlier this month, she has reportedly fired her entire security team. Kanye West, her son-in-law, has assigned his personal security detail to watch over the home and the family. He and his wife Kim Kardashian, along with their two children, have been staying with Kris for the past several months.
