Kylie Jenner admitted that she had respected her mother Kris Jenner’s wishes when she did not invite Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce, to her graduation party in July. The 18-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star made the comments on her website.

"Some people made a big deal about the fact that my dad wasn't included in that graduation party my mom threw for Kendall and I, and I did miss Caitlyn being there,” Kylie said in the post, according to the Mirror. She added that she wishes Caitlyn “could have been there” for the party. "It's understandable why she wasn't [at the party] and I respected my mom's decision about it," Kylie reportedly said.

Kylie said that Caitlyn "was a huge part" of her school life and that she would drive her 45 minutes to school every day.

Caitlyn, 65, had recently told Kris during a clip for their series on E! that Kris' decision not to invite her felt like a “slap in the face.” Kris responded to it, saying: "Listen, usually people who get a divorce don't do everything together. It wasn't malicious."

Kris, 59, and Caitlyn split in 2013 after 22 years of marriage.
