Lamar Odom is unlikely to be prosecuted for cocaine possession as the former NBA star is being treated at a hospital after being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel in October, TMZ reported Saturday.

Late October, it was reported that Odom could be prosecuted for drug charges after the Nye County Sheriff's Department got the 36-year-old's blood tests results. However, law enforcement sources told TMZ that the sheriff’s department was not likely to charge Odom.

Furthermore, the sources told the entertainment website that Nye County District Attorney would check Odom’s medical condition and decide whether to press charges against Khloe Kardashian’s estranged husband. TMZ reported that it did not find any case in Nye County where a person was put on trial for cocaine possession after ending up in hospital.

On Thanksgiving, Kardashian planned to host a meal at home with friends and family, along with a visit to the hospital to see Odom. Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West also visited the Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles, where Odom is being treated.

"We have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving," Khloé announced on her blog Thursday.
