Ex-NBA star Lamar Odom will have some company for Christmas — and it's not someone from the Kardashian or Jenner family. His children are going to visit him at Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, Us Weekly wrote in an exclusive report Thursday.

The former Los Angeles Lakers star was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel Oct. 13. Though he regained consciousness, he struggles with his memory and motor skills. Still, he has made progress, and Destiny and Lamar Jr. — his children — will be at the hospital Dec. 25 to celebrate with him. "He has fought to get better mostly for them,” an insider told Us Weekly. Odom, 36, speaks to them on the phone daily.

“He's actually making progress every day,” the source added. "He is supposed to be moved to the rehab center any day now.”

There are conflicting reports about Odom’s condition, though. While Us Weekly wrote he has improved, there are days he forgets his own name, Entertainment Tonight said Thursday.

"He's not doing great," the source told ET. "His speech is still slurred, and he can barely walk on his own yet. He forgets a lot of people's names — sometimes even his own. He definitely has some memory loss."

Odom's problems don't stop there. His much-needed time in the hospital has reportedly dried up some of his $55 million fortune, Radar Online reported Wednesday. By then end of the year, his medical bills will total $10 million. “There’s no end in sight, and he’s completely unaware of what’s going on,” an insider said. Kardashian, 31, is reportedly managing his bills, and she’s ordering the best care possible. But those close to Odom are afraid what will happen if she leaves him with the unpaid bills.

The reality star previously said she stayed married to Odom so she could help him make medical decisions. "I'm married for a multitude of reasons, but it's not intimate reasons," she told ET last month.
