LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are getting their own reality TV series. According to the couple's press release, the show, tentatively titled “LeAnn & Eddie,” will run on VH1 with six half-hour episodes during the 2013-2014 season.

"We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are, or better yet who we're really not," the couple said in a statement. "We're thrilled to partner with Vh1 and The Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music."

"LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public's imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids,” said Tom Calderone, president of VH1. “This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like - from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life."

Rimes, 30, is a Grammy-award winning, multi-platinum country music star, while Cibrian, 40, is an actor best known for his roles in “CSI: Miami,” “Invasion,” “Third Watch,” “Sunset Beach” and “The Playboy Club.”

The couple met on the set of the 2009 Lifetime film “Northern Lights” and instantly became tabloid fodder when it was revealed that the two had an affair while each was married to somebody else. At the time, Rimes was married to backup dancer Dean Sheremet, while Cibrian was married to “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville.

Rimes and Cibrian tied the knot on April 22, 2011.

“LeAnn & Eddie” will be executive produced by Scott and Deirdre Gurney for Gurney Productions, the company responsible for reality shows like “Duck Dynasty,” “Auction Hunters” and “American Guns.” Rimes and Cibrian will also serve as executive producers.
