Levi Aron, the man who has been charged with the horrific murder and dismemberment of eight-year-old Brooklyn boy Leiby Kletzky, apparently had some personality quirks, as authorities try to construct the personality of a man who could commit such heinous crimes.

According to the New York Times, Aron liked hanging out and even performing at karaoke bars on Long Island, although he didn’t mingle much with others.

Aron harbored dreams of appearing on the “American Idol” TV show and sang covers of popular songs on the SingSnap.com Web site.

The NY Daily News reported that among the songs he sang on the internet were Cher/Peter Cetera duet After All”; Evanescence's Bring Me to Life, and the Maroon 5/Rihanna song If I Never See Your Face Again.

A report in the New York Post indicated that Aron’s Facebook page listed 220 “friends.” Including some attractive young women.

Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and the Black Eyed Peas were listed as among his favorite entertainer.

He also was a fan of the TV shows Glee and The Office.
